First Fundraising Event
Terry Whitfield, ran 26.2 miles from Corktown today, running past the Detroit Riverfront, around Belle Isle and back to Corktown. The goal is to raise money for Detroit students, teachers and the Fatima Plater Scholarship Fund.The scholarship fund is for students in the College of Education at Wayne State University and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority members at Western Michigan University.
